Beauty of the Wild is the on-line portfolio of nature photographer Jay Paredes. It contains articles on nature photography locations, techniques, and technology. Places throughout South Florida are regularly covered, including the Green Cay Wetlands, Wakodahatchee Wetlands, and the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. This site contains a web log and image galleries as well as a free newsletter subscription regarding nature photography in South Florida. A secondary mission of this site is to document through pictures the wildlife most commonly seen at local nature parks from month to month. There are also galleries that occasionally highlight other key nature photography sites throughout the state of Florida. Several aviaries and botanical gardens, such as Butterfly World and the Palm Beach Zoo are also highlighted from time to time. Beauty of the Wild is part of the Everglades Photographic Society, promoting conservation and education of the unique wildlife and habitats throughout Florida through nature photography.
